The Port of Milford Haven is recruiting a Quayside Operations Manager -  a new role which will span Pembroke Port and Pembroke Dock Ferry Terminal, Milford Fish Docks and Milford Marina.

Salary: £45,000
Location: Pembroke Port and Milford Dock
Responsible for: 3 x Area Managers and 1 x Admin Assistant
Responsible to: Director of Quayside Operations

The main purpose of the role is:

  • Ensure policy and legislative compliance
  • Ensure financial compliance and management
  • Achieve operational improvements
  • Implementation of strategic plan

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience of relevant maritime or similar operations
  • The ability to work independently with initiative and minimum supervision
  • Influencing skills and experience of leading people
  • Change management experience
  • Financial/budgeting skills
